TrenStar is deeply rooted in the use of Auto ID technology for asset tracking and management applications. In 2001 TrenStar Inc acquired leading edge middleware provider KTP. KTP had been delivering Auto ID solutions since 1977, and installed its first RFID asset tracking project in 1998 - one of the first companies in the industry to do so.
TrenStar is also the first company to offer its unique combination of technology and services to support the pooling of common, non-strategic containers and other mobile assets. Consistently ranked as one of the top software developers in the Denver area and named to the 2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in North America, TrenStar has offices in Denver, CO, and Frankfurt, Germany.
